Shopping & Independence..

Had been thinking of going to the mall on my own for sometime.. knew i would spend money if i went there,but dnt care much today.... sometimes u just get desperate n there is no better mood lifter than shopping...

So i went to the mall with my friend who helped me with the info for using the public transportation,bless her... was quite easy.. and there i was in the Natick mall at 10:15 am! Never have I been so desperate to just get out of the house and be on my own... Picked up a pretzel for breakfast.. love aunt annie's pretzels... and then started my tour of the mall...

Got into Forever 21 shop.. i like this shop coz of there style n decent prizes...
took my own sweet time n tried on lots of tee's n shorts.. ended up buying one shorts n a tee... apparently am fat to fit in even in the "L" sized tee's too at this store...
Grrr... watever... i know i have become too lazy n need to work out n get into shape..
but am as lazy as Garfield....

hen i wandered off into the payless shop.. one more store which meets my requirements of a great store... great stuff at reasonable prizes.. went around looking for shoes for my Cinderella sized feet.. I hate it!
A sweet sales girl with small feet too understood my problem n helped me out...
And i picked up a graet pair of shoes and as i was getting it billed.. she said u can buy one more pair n get 50% off... I was worried,i dnt want to spend too much money so i said no.. den she gave me some great suggestion... n back i went for the 2nd pair of shoes... And after some search got a lovely pair of sandals... but was confused to buy them as they were already on discount on costed only 10$.. but guess what she gave me 50% discount of the already discounted sandals.. I was so HAPPY!!!

This sort of thing would never happen in India... I got 2 great of shoes worth 40$ just for 25$. how cool is that... I love USA for the shopping... Back in India its so much more expensive....

Caught the return bus home.. I felt so independent,felt like old days again....
I hope i get my work permit soon... So that i can work,be independent and shop on my own...!

There is so much more i want to do on my own..
